BKB is located in the center of Palembang city. Where the location is not far from Market 16, Ampera Bridge, and Sultan Mahmud Badarrudin II Mosque. To get to the location, there are lots of alternatives available, starting from the LRT (Light Rail Transit), Trans Musi Bus, Taxi Cars and other public transportation. And if you bring a private vehicle, you don’t need to worry because motorbike parking fees are charged at 3 thousand rupiah and for a car 5 thousand rupiah.

In BKB there is also an Indonesian army dormitory and there is also a nursing academy called the Kesdam academy. In BKB there is a very large fish statue where the name of the statue is the Belida Fish Statue which is the symbol of the BKB.

When you want to visit BKB, I highly recommend coming in the afternoon, because apart from not being too hot, the view when the sun starts to set is very beautiful from the edge of the Musi River in BKB. BKB is also very beautiful when visited at night, the many lights that adorn BKB and the beautiful AMPERA Bridge adds to the feeling of taking pictures there is very appropriate.

BKB is also a pier for tourists who want to go around the Musi River by using a small boat which is often called a ketek.
