Hello friends, I can’t believe the month of Ramadhan has arrived. Of course, many of us are looking forward to it. Well this time I will discuss about takjil, surely you already know what takjil is, because takjil is a hallmark of the month of Ramadhan. What are simple takjil at low prices but the taste is no different from the taste of takjil in five-star restaurants. Alright when i bought takjil in My place, there is no special rules, we just put on mask when we would to choose the food. There are 10 kinds of Takjil that i bought, So let’s check it out !

• 1. LAKSAN

For the first takjil is Laksan. Laksan is a traditional food from Palembang City. Laksan is one of the foods that are processed from fish like Pempek, but the different is Laksan is eaten with kuah laksan. It’s usually made of coconut oil, fish juice and chilli. For the price of one porsion is Rp.5000-,. You can find Laksan everyday and everytime wheter it is Ramadhan or other month.

• 2. PUTU AYU

Friends. Putu Ayu The food that we usually encounter at breakfast, turns out to be selling well during the month of Ramadhan, because of its sweet and delicious taste. And the price of this cake is very cheap, It’s Rp.1000,- for one cake.

• 3. PENTOLAN BEDUG or PENTOLAN IKAN

Pentolan Bedug or Pentolan Ikan. Is one of foods from Palembang City. It’s Made of fish but sometimes people make a combination with chicken. This food has a good taste and suitable for takjil and side dishes served with warm rice. For the price it is Rp.1000,- for one Pentolan.

• 4. GEMBLONG

Okay friends, do you know what is this ? yes this is Gemblong. It is usually made of sticky rice mixed with grated coconut and wrapped with brown sugar. But sometimes wrapped with rock sugar. The price is Rp.1000,- for one Gemblong.

• 5. LEMPER

Lemper is a snack made from sticky rice, usually filled with shredded or minced chicken and wrapped in banana leaves. This snack is famous throughout Indonesia as a stomach blocker before entering the big meal stage. Therefore lemper is suitable for takjil. Lemper has various price, for a big one it is Rp.2000,- for the small it is Rp.1000,-.

• 6. KUE SUS

Kue sus is cake that have a sweet taste. Has a round shape and has a filling made of milk fla, or milk cream. Kue sus is suitable for takjil, because some people needs sweet food or cake for break iftar. The price for kue sus is Rp.1000,-.

• 7. PEMPEK BELAH

Fiends, this food also from Palembang City. Usually pempek belah is not made of fish dough. It just made of tapioka and gandum after that fill with rebon shrimp sambal. And of course the taste is very delicious. For the price is Rp.1000,- for one pempek.

• 8. MARTABAK KENTANG

Martabak Kentang is one of best food because the taste is really nice. We can enjoy it with Sauce or Cuko pempek Palembang. In my place beside pempek Martabak kentang is good selling in Ramadhan month. The price also cheap start from Rp.1000,- untill Rp.2000,-.

• 9. KUE LAPIS

Kue lapis is one of the processed cakes from rice flour which is given a different color by the cooking process by steaming. This cake is usually favored by children because it has a sweet taste and beautiful color. The price is Rp.1000,-.

• 10. ONDE ONDE

The onde onde that I bought is onde which contains grated coconut and brown sugar. Usually onde onde is filled with green beans and others. Onde-onde is suitable for iftar because the taste are creamy and sweet. The price is Rp.1000,- for the big one and Rp.500,- for the small one.
